I’m so incredibly tired right now but I have to get all my important stuff off before I send this computer off. I’ve literally tried everything to fix this thing, so I’ve caved. I’m taking all the important stuff off before I take it in because I’m 100% sure they’re going to wipe the HDD.

So yeah, stayed up til 4am when I had work the next morning. I have to transfer the files in 32 GB increments and since my windows computer doesn’t have a lot of space, I have to transfer that over the network. It kinda slows the internet down to a crawl and I don’t want to inconvenience my family so I have to do it really late at night when everybody is alseep.

The one thing that’s pissing me off is the lack of a progress bar, so I have no idea how much has been copied over. Though the bright side is that I’m remembering the unix commands better.

From what I understand, my Mac is encountering a graphics issue? I’ve tried resetting PRAM, booting into safe mode, booting into recovery mode and even tried using internet recovery mode. None have worked… Well the PRAM thing did but it didn’t fix the issue.

I’ve booted into single user mode and checked the drives file integrity. It says everything is all fine yet when I get to about 70% loaded it hangs. If I try internet recovery mode, it reboots and then loads halfway before the screen completely goes white.

I really don’t want to take it in to be repaired. I don’t have that kind of money.

I’m going to take all the important stuff off as I’m not sure how much my time machine backup has backed up because I disconnect the drive when I go to uni. Not that my backup is even helpful. I can’t restore from time machine. Figures huh.

And to top it all off with what little sleep I got, I had a nightmare about my other rabbit dying.

The fun moment when you stay up pretty much all night trying to fix your computer. And you have work the next day.

I have to manually mount a usb disk to my laptop in single user mode and move my files onto said usb. It fucking sucks.

There is something seriously wrong with my Windows PC :/ Half the time it won’t recognize the boot drive. And just earlier it was making some not good sounds. Not clicking even though that has happened before, but like somethings going on with the fan? Maybe???

I’m just going to keep my important stuff backed up and maybe I’ll pull it apart and check things out. I’m planning to someday get a better system so I can play more modern games. Maybe even do art on it rather than my laptop.
